Product Details

Denver, an apron-fronted derby made on the excellent fitting 378 last, featured here with robust storm-welts and our chunky Vibram rubber sole, produced in our newest leather, Hatch Grain Hide.  From the Men's Main Collection.

Hatch Grain Hide is an ‘oily pull-up’ leather, it has a tight, compact fibre structure, increasing durability and longevity in wear. Starting life as a chrome-tanned leather, vegetable extracts are then re-tanned into the hide producing a soft and supple feel while upholding its durability. This process is more commonly known as a ‘veg re-tan’, allowing the leather to take on an aged character without compromising its long-term performance.
